Swartout was a member of Ohio Univesity's Choral Union from January to May of 2022. He was in the bass section as well as a student conductor for a piece.
University Singers

Swartout was a member of the Ohio University's University Singers from August of 2018 until December 2021, at which point his residential coursework ended at Ohio Universirty.

Athen's First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir

Swartout was a member of the Chancel Choir of Athen's First United Methodist Church from Fall of 2018 until March 2020.
Opera Theater
Directed by Professor Andrew Ryker
Swartout was cast in Ohio University's 2019 spring production of Mozart's Magic Flute. Swartout performed the role of 2nd Armored Man. Swartout also served as the understudy of Papageno and was a chorus member.

Swartout performed the baritone solos of Faure's Requiem with Ohio University's Choral Union on Tuesday, April 16, 2019.
Golden Age Musical Theater
Swartout was a finalist in the NextGen: Finding the Voices of Tomorrow of the The American Pops Orchestra's under the direction of Luke Frazier in March of 2019. Swartout was again a semi-finalist in the the competition in April 2020.
